Susan L Mitchell

Susan Linette Mitchell, 64, of Kimball, died Monday, December 21, 2020.

She was born October 5, 1956 in Detroit to Juanita and the late Buford Buchanan.

Susan was Director of Insurance at Brown & Brown Insurance for many years. She enjoyed reading, breeding and showing her dogs, and taking care of her grandchildren. She will be remembered by her family as a wonderful and caring mother.

She is survived by her husband, Jason; four children, Laura Rigby, Lisa Ford, Kevin Mitchell (Kenzie Emerick) and Brittany Mitchell; nine grandchildren; mother and father, Juanita and Carl French; step-mother, Katherine Buchanan; six siblings, Debbie (Neal) Probert, Judy French, Byron (Rhonda) French, Barry (Shelly) French, Bucky (Tonya) Buchanan and Jimmy Buchanan; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 1-4 p.m. on Saturday, December 26, 2020 in Sparlingville Baptist Church followed by a service at 4:00 p.m. The Reverend Abram Braun will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to the United Way of St. Clair County or Mid City Nutrition.
