Sidney Harold Parrish, 82, of Port Huron, died Tuesday, December 22, 2020.

He was born April 24, 1938 in Port Huron to the late Sidney and Maxine Parrish.

Sidney attended Port Huron schools through age 18. He worked at Taco Bell through Community Enterprises. His unofficial job was taking shopping carts from North Port Village back to Kroger.

He is survived by five siblings, Theresa Stickney, Sylvia Shaffer, Laura (Gene) Sawdon, Lisa Maes and Gloria (Vern) Collins; sister-in-law, Peggy Parrish; and many nieces, nephews and cousins, including special nephews, Kevin (Mary-Beth) and Roger (Gina) Fleury. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Stanley (Donna) Parrish and David Parrish; two infant sisters, Linda and Maralou; and three brothers-in-law, Wayne Stickney, Charlie Maes and Ronald Shaffer.

Visitation will be from 2-5 p.m. on Sunday, December 27, 2020 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. A limited number of people will be allowed in at a time. Please wear a mask for the comfort and safety of others.

Sidney will lie in state from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 22, 2021 in St. Edward on the Lake Catholic Church. The Rite of Committal will follow at Mt. Hope Catholic Cemetery, Port Huron.

Memorial contributions may be made to Life Skills Centers Memory Care Services or the family.
