Kimberly Ann Mitchell
Kimberly Ann Mitchell, 49, of Kimball Township, died unexpectedly, Monday, November 7, 2011 as a result of complications from surgery.
She was born July 5, 1962 in Ontario, Canada to Richard and Eleanor Smith. She married Steven Mitchell on December 11, 1981 in Port Huron.
Kim was a loving wife and an amazing mom who took great care of her family and left them with many wonderful memories. She was employed in the Kroger Deli and formerly worked at Port Huron Hospital. She was a very creative person who decorated cakes, enjoyed all kinds of crafts and collected Santa Claus memorabilia.
She is survived by her husband, Steven; four daughters, Danielle Mitchell, Katy Mitchell (Roger McKinney), Amanda Mitchell and Kelly Mitchell; three grandchildren, Isabella Rose McKinney, Melody Ann Carrier and Bryan Joseph Carrier II; her parents, Richard and Eleanor Smith; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Kenneth and Judith Mitchell; three sisters, Debra (Kevin) Harrison, Laura (Jim) Hartzell and Karen (Brian) Bennert; a brother, Craig Smith; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Thursday in the Marysville Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, November 11, 2011 in the Marysville Funeral Home. The Reverend Max Amstutz will officiate.
Burial will be in Caswell Cemetery. Pallbearers will be James Hartzell, Roger McKinney, Bryan Carrier, Kevin Harrison, Brian Bennert and Brian Mitchell.
Memorial contributions may be made to the United Way.
