Joanne (Lindley) Lubs

Joanne (Lindley) Lubs, 73, of Anderson, Indiana, formerly of Burtchville Township, passed away at home on January 21, 2021. She was born on February 23, 1947 in New York, the daughter of the late Marvin and Hilda (Jefferson) Lindley. She married Harold Lubs on January 28, 1967 in Detroit. He died October 12, 2003.

Joanne was a cafeteria worker in the schools in Michigan and attended East Side Church of God in Anderson. She enjoyed sewing as a hobby and had resided at Keystone woods for the past 9 years.

Joanne is survived by her two children, Mark (Lori) Lubs of Anderson, Indiana, and Dawn (Raymond) Sears of Davidson, North Carolina; five grandchildren, Cruz (Shanna) Sears, Carrie Sears, Charity Sears, Chantelle Sears, and Dustin Lubs; several great grandchildren; three sisters, Jane (Bill) Wilcox of Livonia, Michelle (Danny) Sattterfield of Macomb, Sandy (Larry) Chapman of St. Maries, Idaho; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 28, 2021 in the Maranatha Church of God, 13700 Stephens, Warren, Michigan with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Pastor Wayne Terry will officiate.

Graveside committal services will take place at 1:30 p.m. at the Burtchville Township Cemetery. Pastor Vern Harris will officiate.
