Cathy Wood

Cathy Wood, 67, of Port Huron, went to be with the Lord on January 28, 2021, with her family by her side.

She was born November 24, 1953 to Niki and Lawrence Boyce in Port Huron. Cathy graduated from Port Huron Northern High School. She was married to her loving husband, Glen Wood, in 1982.

Cathy retired from Al Bourdeau Insurance Agency. She was a long-time member of Hillside Wesleyan Church. She taught Sunday school for many years. Music was always in her heart and she loved being part of the church choir. She also enjoyed playing her clarinet.

Most of all, Cathy loved her family. She was a loving and devoted wife and daughter, a caring mother and a doting grandmother. She was a good friend and a wonderful sister.

Cathy is survived by her husband, Glen; their two children, Corey and Lindsey; her step children, John (Julie), Carrie and Glen II; grandchildren, Marissa, Kylee, Amanda, Alyssa, Jayden and Tristen; her mother, Niki; sisters, Karen (Peter) Chiang and Kelli (Glenn) McPhail; sisters-in-law, Patti (Ron) Boyce and Susan (Rick) Boyce; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father, Larry, and both of her brothers, Ron and Rick.

A memorial service will be held in the near future for her family.
