James Henry Roberts, 83, of Kimball, passed away on Friday, January 29, 2021.
He was born September 28, 1937 in Port Huron to the late Norman and Ivy Roberts. He married Nancy Nixon on July 11, 1959 in Port Huron.
James was employed at Mercy Hospital, Anchor Holth, and Mariners Village Condominiums prior to his retirement. He enjoyed puttering in his garden, golfing, playing horseshoes and cornhole, mowing his grass, going to the casino, and spending time at his cabin up north. He was also very proud of his 1957 Chevy Bel Air.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Nancy; a son, James (Leann) Roberts; a daughter, Brenda Roberts; grandchildren, Madison (Justin) Bowles, Jonathon (Mary) Roberts and Buchanon Roberts; two great grandchildren, McKenzie and Alexis Bowles; two brothers, Frank Roberts and Edmund (Barbara) Roberts; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Norman Roberts and Ray (Marilyn) Roberts.
Visitation open to the public will be from 1:00-2:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 6, 2021 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home followed by a service at 2:30 p.m. Deacon Dennis Crimmins will officiate.
