Judith Ann Harris
Judith Ann Harris, 90, of Fort Gratiot, died Tuesday, February 2, 2021.
She was born November 17, 1930 in Port Huron to the late Maurice and Imogene Kilpatrick. She married James Harris Jr. on February 3, 1951. He died November 20, 2001.
Mrs. Harris owned Harris Rentals and assisted her former husband at Harris Construction. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and a longtime member and past president of Quota International. Judy enjoyed listening to and volunteering with the International Symphony Orchestra, and working at the flu clinic. She loved basket making and all animals.
She is survived by five children, J. Michael Harris, Deborah (Keith) Thornton; Frederich Lincoln Harris, Anita Rose Szostek and Maryleigh Harris (David Wilson); eight grandchildren, Erika (Dante) Ciavattoni, Aaron Thornton, Cole (Anne) Thornton, Ryan (Lindsay) Szostek, Alex Szostek, Garrett Wilson, Finlay Wilson and Harris Wilson; six great grandchildren, Lauryn, Mason, Kylie, Alice, James and Lillian; and long-time friend, Daniel Nitschke. She was preceded in death by a son, Erich Harris; a sister, Bette Helwig; and her stepfather, Julian Alarie.
A memorial visitation and Funeral Mass will be announced in the future.
Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Port Huron.
