Mary L Smith

Mary Louise Smith, 92, of Marysville, died Thursday, February 18, 2021.

She was born September 7, 1928 in Detroit to the late Nicolas and Iona Weiden. She married Elijah G. Smith Jr. on July 19, 1947 in Algonac. He preceded her in death on November 6, 2010 after 63 years of marriage.

Mr. and Mrs. Smith owned and operated Smith-Sabin Florist in Algonac for over 32 years. She loved cats, dogs, birds and wild animals.

She is survived by two sons, Steve (Connie) Smith of Port Huron Township and Jeff (Pat) Smith of Caseville; four grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Sylvia Page.

A memorial service will be announced in the spring.
