Mary Miller

Mary Dora Miller, 93, of Port Huron, died Wednesday, March 31, 2021.

She was born April 14, 1927 in Port Huron to the late Cornelio and Josefa Gutierrez.

Mary was employed as a social worker at the Guadalupe Center and was past president of the St. Vincent DePaul Society of Port Huron.

She is survived by her son, Reverend Anthony Russell (Michele Smoke); grandchildren, Rachel, Tony, Michael, Paige, Chantelle, Dionne, Sean, Dylan and Gavin; and her brother, Richard (Betty) Gutierrez. She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Miller; and four siblings, Pete Gutierrez, Olivia Torres, Alicia Hernandez and Emma Garza.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 in Metropolitan Baptist Church, 2949 24th Street, Port Huron.

Memorial contributions may be made to her son, Anthony Russell, at 3809 Electric Avenue, Port Huron.
