Robert V Goodman

Robert V. Goodman, 91, of Port Huron Township, died Sunday, April 4, 2021. He was born March 31, 1930 in Port Huron to the late George and Viola Goodman. He married Viona Benner on September 26, 1950 in Port Huron. She died September 9, 2005. Robert worked for A&P for many years and was Head of the Grocery Department. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is survived by two children, Janice M. (Frank) Behro of Hamilton, Ontario and Douglas (Kathleen) Goodman of Port Huron; two grandchildren, Jason and Jennifer Goodman; three great grandchildren; and two sisters, Mary and Pat. He was preceded in death by his brother, Charlie; and sisters, Betty and Loretta. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 14, 2021 in Woodland Cemetery, Port Huron Township. Major Wesley Dalberg will officiate. An additional memorial gathering will be held after international pandemic restrictions have been lifted. Arrangements are by Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.
