Margaret M Holmes

Margaret Mary Holmes, 78, of Port Huron, died Wednesday, April 14, 2021.

She was born June 24, 1942 in Hamtramck to the late Joseph and Julia Belkiewicz. She married Gary Holmes on September 2, 1961 in Port Huron.

Margaret was an amazing wife and mother who was loved by everyone. She considered everyone a friend.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Gary; children, Laura (Lawrence) Taylor Jr., Donald (Christine) Holmes and Timothy (Wendy) Holmes; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; two brothers, Eugene Belkiewicz and James “Jim” (Rose) Belkiewicz; and several cousins. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Joseph Belkiewicz Jr. and Jack “Butch” Belkiewicz.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Algonac Restoration Branch of Jesus Christ’s Church.
