Charles J Nichols

Charles Jerome Nichols, 68, of Port Huron, died Sunday, April 18, 2021.

He was born March 30, 1953 in Pontiac to the late Robert and Beatrice Nichols-Brooks. He married Susan C. Nutt on December 1, 1973 in Port Huron.

Charles was a graduate of Port Huron Northern High School. He was employed as a carpenter for many years and could build anything. He enjoyed fishing and loved playing Pinochle.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Susan; sons, Patrick (Tonia) and Charles (LaTisha) Nichols; daughter, Kimberly (Joel) Fuller; nine grandchildren; one great grandchild; brothers, Robert (Ray Dain), John and Ken Nichols; sisters, Charlene Collins, Debbie (Dave) Kitchen, Marilyn Fogarty and Darlene Nichols; canine companion, Bentley; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by a sister, Marie Brandenburg.

Cremation has taken place to honor Charles’ wishes.
