Willie Roy White, 84, passed away Tuesday, April 20, 2021. He moved to Port Huron from Detroit in 2002.
He was born August 10, 1936 in Chickasawba Township, Arkansas to the late Ruffus and Irene White. He married Catherine White on July 18, 1962 and to that union five children were born.
Mr. White worked as a hi lo driver for Flex-N-Gate for 40 years, retiring in 2018.
He leaves to mourn his passing four children, Barbara McCloud, Janie Willingham, Martha Willingham and Willie Roy “Man” White Jr.; 15 grandchildren, Larry, Demetrius, Shauntese, Anthony, Nicole, Tatiana, Eugene, Eric, Damon, Aaron, Taryn, Autumn, Destinae, Kamryn and Katherine Roi; 20 great grandchildren; a sister, Minnie Barnes; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Lisa Willingham in 2013 and by his wife, Catherine on September 6, 2020.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Monday, May 3, 2021 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. A limited number of people will be allowed in at a time. Please wear a mask for the safety and comfort of others.
A private family service will follow at 12 p.m. Pastor Allen White and Dr. Joseph White will officiate. The service livestream may be viewed on Willie’s obituary page on the funeral home website.
Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery, Port Huron.
