Joe Fred Spadafore, 72, of Fort Gratiot, died Thursday, April 22, 2021.
He was born August 12, 1948 in Port Huron to the late John and Mary Spadafore. He married Judy Foster on August 21, 1970 at St. Edward on the Lake Catholic Church.
Joe attended St. Clair County Community College and graduated from Western Michigan University. He was employed as a mechanical engineer at T.I. Automotive as well as United Tech. Known as “Mr. Fix It,” he enjoyed tinkering on cars, tractors and anything mechanical. Most of all, he loved spending time at home with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Judy; sons, Jim (Angela) and John (Laura) Spadafore; six grandchildren, Jordan, Laren, Lainey, Lucas, Lillian and Liam; brother, Jerry (Sharon) Spadafore; sisters, Jean M. Spadafore and Barbara J. Radford; sister-in-law, Marsha Fairman; brother-in-law, John (Mary) Foster; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Spadafore; and a sister, Pauline (Dick) Lomp.
Visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday, April 26, 2021 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. A limited number of people will be allowed in at a time. Please wear a mask for the comfort and safety of others.
Private family services will be held Tuesday, April 27, 2021 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.
