Lorna A. Sischo, 81, of Marysville, died Wednesday, May 5, 2021.
She was born August 6, 1939 in Port Huron to the late Norman and Inez McKenzie. She married David Sischo on June 11, 1960. He preceded her in death on March 6, 1979.
Mrs. Sischo was employed with Mercy Hospital for 15 years prior to her retirement in 2011. She was a member of Cole United Methodist Church in Yale. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, listening to music, and walks along the water.
She is survived by three children, Scott (Cindy) Sischo, Jody (Mike) Mallia and Marcie (William) Goodwin; her companion and special friend, Dan Peach; seven grandchildren, Paul Sischo, Jennifer (Brett) Brodersen, Rochelle (Kristian) Kjos, David (Megan) Mallia, Andrea (Luke) Kwiatowski, Brandi and Shay Goodwin; three great grandchildren, Emmett, Maclan and Kinslee; sister, Frances Clark; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Winnie Schiffelbine and Carol Brown; brother, Norm McKenzie; and brother-in-law, Frank Clark.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 noon on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 in the Marysville Funeral Home. A limited number of people will be allowed in at a time. Please wear a mask for the safety and comfort of others.
Private family services will follow at 12 noon on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 in the Marysville Funeral Home. Pastor Lisa Clark will officiate. Friends may view the service livestream on Lorna’s page of the funeral home website.
Burial will be in Riverlawn Cemetery, Marysville.
