Roger Alan Carriveau, 57, of Port Huron, died Saturday, May 8, 2021.
He was born December 14, 1963 in Detroit to the late Floyd and Geraldine Carriveau. He married Dawn Carnahan on May 6, 2008 in Warren.
Roger was employed as a service writer in the automotive industry for several years. He enjoyed playing baseball, bowling, golfing, watching football and hockey, and traveling. Roger was always first to lend a helping hand to others and loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Dawn; children, Bill (Crystal) Cooper, Heather (Darin) Helcher, Kari (Steve) Thorpe, Christina Carriveau and David Carriveau; grandchildren, Caleb, Cameron, Caden, William and Zaylei, with two on the way that he was very excited to meet; mother-in-law, Kathryn Schlinkert; two sisters, Sharon (Mel) Diaz and Janis (John) Riggs; one brother, James (Donna) Carriveau; sisters-in-law, Patricia “Cricket” (Roger) Hartman, Paula (Terry) Hashley, Michelle “Shelly” Martin and Tonia Rock; special nephew, Shane Mostek and several other nieces and nephews; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Geraldine Carriveau; father-in-law, Patrick Carnahan; and mother-in-law, BettyJo Grougan.
Visitation will be held from 3-6 p.m. on Thursday, May 13, 2021 in the Marysville Funeral Home. A limited number of people will be allowed in at a time. Please wear a mask for the safety and comfort of others.
