Doris E Staton

Doris E. Staton, 90, of Marysville, died Friday, May 14, 2021.

She was born May 27, 1930 in Cadillac, Michigan to the late William and Mary Johnson. She married Charles McAuther on October 25, 1951 in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Doris was a member of the American Legion Charles Hammond Post #8. She was a very funny, loving, spirited, amazing person.

She is survived by three children, Vivian Marie, Vernon Farris and Janet Diane; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; siblings, Marie, Vernon, Frank and Robert. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Marlene Staton; a son, Charles McAuther Jr.; a granddaughter, Rosie Staton; great grandchildren, Devin Allen Staton and Iggy Eric Staton; and sibling, Mary Gertrude.

Visitation will be held from 2-3 p.m. on Thursday, June 10, 2021 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home with a concluding prayer at 3:00 p.m.

Inurnment will be in Maple Hill Cemetery, Cadillac, Michigan where she will be laid to rest with her son, Junior and daughter, Marlene.
