Patricia A McConnell

Patricia Ann McConnell, 82, of Marysville, died Tuesday, May 18, 2021.

She was born September 26, 1938 in Port Huron to the late Nelson and Pauline Koopman.

Mrs. McConnell had been employed at the Playhouse Theater, the Pelican Café and Rite Aid prior to retirement. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her friends and family. She was an incredibly strong woman and most importantly, an amazing mom.

She is survived by her children, Lynn O’Berry, Daniel (Tricia) McConnell, Robert McConnell, Patrick (Shirley) McConnell, Laurie McConnell, and Andrew (Sheila) McConnell; 18 grandchildren, Sarah (Lisa) Senn, Michael Waltenburg, Kathy Gilbert, Christina Aaron, Erik (April) Meisel, Chris Meisel, Jessica (Ryan) Chupa, Kristopher McConnell, Frank (Michelle) Mummert, Major (Brittany) Mummert, Michael, Robbie, Heather and Brandy Hillis, Andrew “Drew” and Eliza McConnell, and Aaron and Kaylee Swoffer; 24 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; and her very special friend, Shelly Eldridge.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Elwyn L. McConnell; her daughter, Brenda McConnell; and a son-in-law, Wilson O’Berry.

A celebration of life for family and friends will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 31, 2021 in the Deckerville Community Center, 3451 Main Street, Deckerville.
