Minister Joyce Ann Snyder, 73, of Port Huron, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 24, 2021 in Medilodge of St. Clair after a long illness.
She was born December 14, 1947 in Warren, Ohio to the late Claretta Smart Warfield. Joyce Warfield married George Snyder in 1973. Together they had one child, and four children altogether. She was employed by the Grand Trunk Western Railroad for 15 years and served as a Holland Woods Foster Grandparent. She fostered many children and was a fierce protector of her family, including her boys. She was currently a minister of Restoration Christian Community Church with a fire in her heart to spread the Gospel. She loved dancing, music and Motown.
Joyce leaves to mourn her passing her two sons, Torres Snyder and Victor Warfield; grandchildren, Camille Warfield, Victor Warfield Jr., Arielle Warfield, Shantele Snyder, D’Andre Woodard, Marco Smallman, Jason Smallman, Torry Snyder, Brenden Smallman, Torres Snyder, Damon Snyder, and Mylynn Snyder; three sisters, Brenda Webster, Renee (Earl) Peoples, and Kay Jones; brothers, Bill (Sandy) Warfield and Edward Warfield Jr.; a host of great grandchildren, cousins, nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews; and ex-husband, but still very close, George Snyder.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, July 10, 2021 in Restoration Christian Community Church with Dr. Carl Miller, senior pastor, officiating. The family will receive guests one hour prior to the service time at the church. To send condolences, visit pollockrandall.com.
