Martine Marie Harrison, 70, of St. Clair, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 1, 2021, with her three daughters by her side after a five-month battle with pancreatic cancer.
She was born September 13, 1950 in Joliet, Illinois to the late Raymond and Dorothy Hulbert. She married Bruce M. Harrison on May 26, 1979 in Dearborn. He passed away July 29, 2020.
Martine was born and raised in Joliet, Illinois and graduated from Illinois State University. She was a Special Education Teacher at Woodland Developmental Center for many years. Martine was a social butterfly who loved traveling and going to lunch with her girlfriends. She especially enjoyed supporting her children and grandchildren in their many activities.
She is survived by three daughters, Jennifer (Shawn) Sharrow, Kelly (Michael) Bilina and Megan (Steve) Hofer; 11 grandchildren, Harper, Bo and Molly Sharrow, Brady, Duke, Lola, Darla and Jacoby Bilina and Daxton, Jett and Vienna Hofer; in-laws, Patrick (Rose) Harrison, Nancy Harrison (Brian Ford), Mary Beth Harrison, Katie (Rudy) Gacobelli and Luann Hulbert; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Laurie Hulbert and Daniel Hulbert; and sister-in-law, Judy Dumenjich.
Visitation will be held from 3-8 p.m. on Tuesday July 6, 2021 in the Marysville Funeral Home.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at Holy Trinity Parish St. Joseph Catholic Church with visitation beginning at 10:30 a.m. The Reverend Joseph Gagnon and Deacon Dennis Crimmins will officiate.
Inurnment will be in Riverlawn Cemetery Columbarium, Marysville.
