Michael D Brown

Michael David Brown, 55, of Marysville, passed away from ALS on Saturday, July 17, 2021.

He was born March 31, 1966 to the late William and Joan Brown Jr. of Smiths Creek.

Michael was a life-long resident of the Blue Water area. He graduated from Marysville High School. He attended St. Clair County Community College and Lawrence Tech where he earned a degree in architecture. He worked at Aludyne, Inc. (Chassex) in Port Huron until he was unable to due to ALS.

Michael is loved and will be missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife, Julie (Jackson-Pettengill) Brown; son, Tyler Brown; brother, Troy (Ida) Brown; sister, Terry (Ron) Armstead; stepchildren, Krysta (Pettengill) Blount and Jared Pettengill; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and step grandchildren; and his Great Dane, SadieRose.

He will be cremated and placed with his parents in Caswell Cemetery at 12:30 p.m. on Monday, July 26, 2021. A memorial gathering will follow at his sister, Terry’s home at 1:00 p.m.

Michael’s wishes were to be home in his favorite chair with his family and his dog. His family wishes to thank McLaren Hospital and Hospice for making that possible.
