Donna J Jones

Donna Josephine Jones, 82, of Taylor, died Saturday, August 7, 2021.

She was born June 9, 1939 in Merrittstown, Pennsylvania to the late Horace and Edwardina Johns.

Donna was a graduate of Port Huron High School. She attended the University of Michigan Dearborn and West Virginia State College. She was employed with the City of Taylor for 10 years before her retirement.

She is survived by her brother, Floyd Allen of Southfield; sisters, Darlene Evans of Santa Monica, CA and Sandi Kirksey of Detroit; nieces, Donna Wilson of Canton, Tomiko Whitaker of Indianapolis, IN and Benita Melton of Flint; her son, Ben Jones; and a host of other family and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, August 13 in Caswell Cemetery, Kimball Township. The Reverend Alex Crittenden will officiate.
