Richard French
Richard French, 66, of Marysville, died Sunday, August 8, 2021.
He was born March 8, 1955 in Port Huron and married Aimee Harmon on August 28, 1993 in Fairview, Michigan.
Richard was a man of many talents. He owned a Bait & Tackle shop in Pontiac for several years, was a former paramedic, did taxidermy and deer processing, and most recently was a truck driver with Burgess Contracting Co. for many years prior to his retirement. He loved hunting, and in his younger years was a talented tennis player.
He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Aimee; nieces, Jill Sheldon and her son, Caleb Sheldon; Jessica (Wyatt) Bade and their children, Sophia Bade, Jenna Bade, and Kourtney (Keith) Koch and their son, Koah; and Jodi Gossman and her children, Timothy Bowers & Emily Gossman. He was preceded in death by his mother, Delores French; and sister, Cheryl Sheldon.
A memorial gathering will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, August 22, 2021 at Richard and Aimee’s home.
