Leonard Stephen McIntyre, 70, of Clyde Township died Saturday, August 21, 2021.
He was born April 1, 1951 in Port Huron to the late Gerald and Shirley McIntyre. He married Diane L. Lewandowski on January 3, 1970 in Marysville.
Leonard retired from Sterling Stamping in 1998. He was an avid sports fan and loved motorcycles and antique cars. He enjoyed going up north to the cabin, going to casinos and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Diane; daughter, Dawn (Joel) Carrier; son, Leonard (Carrie) McIntyre; two special children that he raised, Mary Jo (Ralph) Burchart and Todd Farnum; six grandchildren, Carissa, Caileigh, Tommy, Mackenzie, Lenny and Lauren; eight great grandchildren; special sister, Linda (John) Mitchell; brother, Larry (Nancy) McIntyre; sister, Lucille Bechtel; special friends, Al (Fran) French; Bruce (Jennifer) Collingwood and Paul (Terri) Hendricks; and loving canine companion, Brody. He was preceded in death by his sister, Louise McIntyre.
Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Wednesday, August 25, 2021 in the Marysville Funeral Home
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 26, 2021 in the Marysville Funeral Home. Celebrant Laurie Wilson will officiate.
