Obituary

James Graham Robinson, 78, of Port Huron Township, died Saturday, August 28, 2021.

He was born September 9, 1942 in Coudersport, Pennsylvania to the late Leland and Helen Robinson. He married Sandra Mertz on December 11, 1971 in Port Huron.

James served in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam. He was employed with Standard Office Supply for many years prior to retirement. He was involved in many volunteer activities, helped to found the Port Huron Township Museum, and was a member of the NRA, American Legion, V.F.W. and Disabled American Veterans Chapter #12. He enjoyed golfing, going to garage sales and selling things on Craigslist.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Sandra; three children, Lisa (Al) Kasten, Rhonda Zurawski and Krystal Robinson; grandchildren, Collin and Caleb Kasten, Zachary and Noah Zurawski and Alyssa (C.J.) Stockwell; great grandchildren, David and Cayde Stockwell; brothers, Gary (Joni) Robinson and James (Bonnie) Weimer; brother-in-law, Phil Kreuscher; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Brenda Kreuscher.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 24, 2021 at the Allied Veterans Cemetery Columbarium. Military honors will be conducted by the U.S. Navy and the St. Clair County Allied Veterans Honor Guard.
