David L Wakeham

David Lee Wakeham, 78, of Marysville, died Tuesday, August 31, 2021.

He was born December 30, 1942 in Port Huron to the late Kenneth and Margaret Wakeham.

David was a master mechanic and truck driver for many years. He served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the St. Clair County Allied Veterans Honor Guard, Marysville American Legion Post# 449, V.F.W. May O’Brien Post #8464, Vietnam Veterans Post #284 and D.A.V. Chapter #12.

He is survived by three children, David (Kim) Wakeham, Yvonne (Tracey) Sweet and Kelly (Kelly) Hamblin; six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; a sister, Carol Sheridan; brother-in-law, Marlin Lambert; several nieces and nephews; and dear friend, Krystal Jacobs. He was preceded in death by a sister, Beverly Lambert; and twin brother, Thomas Wakeham.

Inurnment will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at the Allied Veterans Cemetery Columbarium. Military honors will be conducted under the auspices of the U.S. Army and St. Clair County Allied Veterans Honor Guard.

Memorials may be made to the St. Clair County Allied Veterans Honor Guard.
