Wilma L Ciocan
Wilma Lurye Ciocan, 92, of Fort Gratiot, formerly of New Baltimore, died Thursday, September 2, 2021 in Regency on the Lake.
She was born February 14, 1929 in Wilsonville, Nebraska to the late Alfred R. and Fannie Richard. Her husband John Woolman died in 1983 after six years of marriage. She married George A. Ciocan on September 12, 1986 in Milltown, New Jersey and they moved to Tarpon Springs Florida for several years. He died May 16, 2004.
Mrs. Ciocan retired from Riverside Metals in 1986 after 15 years of service. She had also worked for Hallet Manufacturing and was a waitress for many years at the Coney Island and Dorsey House restaurants. She was a life member of Clark-Moetz V.F.W. Post 2319 Ladies Auxiliary in Milltown and loved playing cards. She was a Bingo fanatic.
She is survived by her son, James. N. Reeves (Tessie) Jr. of Jeddo; three daughters, Gayle Gray of N. Carolina, Marilyn Willis of Clyde and Pam (Karl) Schild of Harsens Island; 22 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and many great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by four sons, Alfred F. Reeves, Richard S. Reeves, Jackie N. Reeves, and Douglas L. (Ann) Richard; a step-daughter, Carol Ann (Fred) Offenburger; a son-in-law, Alvin C. Willis; a brother, Robert Richard Sr.; and four sisters, Marie F. Gerhard, Dorothy L. McKinley, Wilda M. Mendez and Mary Elizabeth Shackleton.
Private family services have been held.
