Judith K Drane

March 18th, 1943 to September 2nd, 2021

Judith Kay Drane, 78, of Smiths Creek, departed this life, peacefully at home on Thursday, September 2, 2021 and is now in the loving hands of her Savior Jesus Christ. She has now reunited with her parents, sister and son, William James, after battling dementia for years.

She married William Drane in 1967. Their love story started in Warren, Michigan where they met through friends, Milas and Diane Allison. Judy was the most kind, generous, caring and thoughtful person one could ever know. She lived her life in service to others as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and nurse, working for Dr. Wilhelm. She enjoyed babies, flowers, butterflies and her winter home in Summerfield, Florida.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, William; children, Steven, Kimberly, Elizabeth and Frank; grandchildren, Charlie, Emily, Henry, Cody, MacKenzie, Katelyn, Nash, Zachary, Kelseyann, Madison, Brenna, Kuylar, Jenna and Alexa; and great grandchildren, Violet, Xavier, Gabriel, Gideon, Rowan and Lydia. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Bertha Nash; son, William Drane; grandson, Kyle Rhody; sister, Barbara Hoffman; and in-laws, Jim and Helen Drane.

Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Friday, September 10, 2021 in the Marysville Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 11, 2021 in Pilgrim Lutheran Church followed by a luncheon at the church. The Reverend Michael Opfermann will officiate. Pallbearers will be Nash Rosenmund, Zach Rosenmund, Cody Blake, Nick Spittlemeister, Kevin Czajka and Spencer Parker.
