Robert Eugene Wright Sr., 47, of Port Huron, a lifelong area resident, loved hard from August 16, 1974 until September 6, 2021, and the dash is what the world knew and felt genuinely.
Robert was a promoter, supporter and entrepreneur in any avenue and enjoyed seeing everyone win. If you saw him, he was “blessed,” and he wanted you to have a “blessed day.” His smile was infectious, his heart was pure, and he loved everyone literally. #tothadirt
He is survived by his four deeply adored children, Robert Jr. (Hannah), Raven, Ramaree and Jamari; his precious granddaughter, Nalayah “Nay”; siblings, Lavon Edwards, Damon Wright and Amber Wright; nephews and nieces, Lavon, Devante, Hunter, Jerzee, Azaria and Daelyn; aunts and uncles, Barb Edwards, Angela Sinclair, Leon (Terry) Edwards, Charles Edwards Sr., Cynthia “Lucky” Morgan and Melanie Sorentini; a world full of cousins; and special friend, Angela Campbell. He had no friends, everyone was family, and you couldn’t tell him differently.
Robert was preceded in death by his mother, Cynthia Edwards; his father, Robert Miller; and his grandmother, Lena “Shug” Edwards.
Funeral services will be held at noon on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 in Kingdom Authority Ministries with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. Pastor Loretta J. Hazely of New Life North Ambassadors for Christ and Pastor Carl E. Miller Sr. of Restoration Christian Community Church will officiate.
Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery, Port Huron.
