David Edward King, 70, of Port Huron, died Monday, September 20, 2021.
He was born October 7, 1950 in Port Huron to the late Arthur and Irene King.
David was a truck driver with ABF Freight Systems for many years. He enjoyed camping, traveling, cooking, watching his grandchildren play baseball and softball, and wintering in Arizona and Florida. He loved spending time with family and friends, especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Trudy King; children, Jennifer (Rich) Elsner and Dana (Darrin) VanConant; grandchildren, Brady and Avery VanConant; two furry four-legged grandchildren, Isla and Finn; sister, Debbie (Tim) Thierry; sister-in-law, Lisa King; step-brother, Mike (Sherry) Doan; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Donald King.
Visitation will be held from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, September 23, 2021 in the Marysville Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 24, 2021 in the Marysville Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. The Reverend Anthony Carroll will officiate.
