Katherine Elizabeth Dancey, 89, of Port Huron, died Tuesday, October 19, 2021.
She was born July 25, 1932 in Port Huron to the late Russell and Freda Jackson. She married Donald K. Dancey on October 29, 1960 in Port Huron. He died February 7, 2001.
Katherine enjoyed bowling and find-a-word puzzles. She was a long-time member of Westminster Church where she served as a church Deacon and oversaw funeral dinners.
She is survived by three sons, J. Lee (Karen) Dancey, W. Hunter (Trish) Dancey and Donald J. (Laura) Dancey; grandchildren, Eric, Jeremy and Keith Matzinger, Michelle (Joe) Whitman, Riley Dancey and Megan and Erin Cravens, Jennifer Housner and Holly Bradfield; siblings, Ross (June) Jackson, Thelma (Ken) Moldren, Russell (Annette) Jackson, Howard Jackson and Marilyn Barnhouse; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her sister, Florence (John) Meyers; in-laws, Nancy Jackson, Thelma (Lawrence) Kilbourn, Lois (Shirley) Wright, Pete Barnhouse; and Wilma (Wallace) Irwin.
Visitation will be held from 2-4 & 6-8 on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 in Westminster Church. Dr. Tom Brown will officiate.
Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Yale.
