Edward D Habel

Edward Daniel Habel, 74, of Burtchville, died Monday, October 18, 2021.

He was born September 28, 1947 in Detroit to the late Richard and Rose Habel. He married Dianne Fritz on January 6, 1968 in Detroit.

Edward graduated from St. Elizabeth High School in Detroit and served in the U.S. Navy. He loved fishing, music, spending time with his family and was a firm believer in God.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Dianne; children, Dante (Jessica) Habel, Shannon (Scotty) Von Seggern, Christopher (Katie) Habel and Donna (Morgan) Fox; eight grandchildren; and sister, Tina Slattery.

Cremation has taken place. No services are scheduled at this time.
