Margaret H "Peggy" Milam

Margaret H. “Peggy” Milam, 75, of Port Huron, died Friday, October 22, 2021.

She was born May 26, 1946 in Charleston, West Virginia to the late William and Margaret Bouldin. She married Charles Milam on August 6, 1966 in St. Albans, West Virginia. He died July 9, 2006.

Mrs. Milam was a staff pastor at Cross Current Church and was passionate about teaching the Bible. She was a lifetime member of the Girl Scouts.

She is survived by two children, Edward (Jenny) Milam and Marjorie Milam; ten grandchildren, Kristen Milam, Sarah Milam, Rachael Milam, Elijah Honor Cooley, Megan Cooley, Peter Mazzara, Jonathon Cooley, Kara Kove, Franklin Cooley and CharliAnn Kove; siblings, Betsy (Dave) Brucker, Gussie Bouldin and Nancy Pickens; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Trudy.

Funeral services will be held at noon on Thursday, November 4, 2021 in Cross Current Church with visitation beginning at 11 a.m. The Reverend Mark Wargo will officiate.

Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery, Port Huron. Pallbearers will be Peggy’s grandchildren, Kristen and Sarah Milam, Elijah Honor Cooley, Peter Mazzara, Jonathon and Franklin Cooley.
