Juan Vincent David, 76, of Palms Township, died Sunday, October 24, 2021.

He was born November 18, 1944 in Mt. Clemens to the late Ignacio and Laura David.

Juan served several tours in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was employed as a teacher and inventor for many years prior to his retirement. He was also an accomplished musician.

He is survived by his wife, Cathryn; children, Janice, Christina, Justin and Jessica; grandchildren, Kaylee, Charlie, Gabriel, Xander and Lucien; siblings, Roger (Trudy) David) and Dennis (Claudia) David; step-siblings, Shoshana Skupeko Silver, Peter Skupeko and Lynn Skupeko; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial visitation will be held from 2-5 p.m. Saturday, November 13, 2021 in the Sanilac County Historical Museum, 228 South Ridge Street, Port Sanilac. Military honors followed by a brief service of remembrance will begin at 3:30 p.m.

Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Monroe.
