Viola Hanes

Viola Hanes, 77, of Port Huron, died Monday, October 25, 2021.

She was born April 25, 1944 in Port Huron.

Viola worked in the kitchen at Community Enterprises before her retirement. She enjoyed going to restaurants and shopping; and loved music, art, dancing, gardening and cooking. A woman with a big heart, Viola was a friend to everyone she met.

She is survived by her many friends and caregivers who became her family.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 in Central Lakeport United Methodist Church with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. Laurie Nuske will officiate.

Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery, Port Huron.

Memorial contributions may be made to Community Enterprises of St. Clair County.
