Pearl P. VanNess, 102, of Port Huron, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 27, 2021.
She was born September 1, 1919 in Port Huron to the late John and Jennie Richter. She married Charles Dale VanNess on March 12, 1940 in Port Huron. He died November 14, 1993.
She enjoyed gardening, playing dominos and going on cruises.
She is survived by three children, Shirley Collins, Paula (William) Craney and Lawrence (Karen) VanNess; daughter-in-law, Luisa; seven grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Nelson.
She was preceded in death by siblings, Doris Carpenter, Helen Clark and John Richter.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 3, 2021 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Dr. Joseph Baunoch will officiate.
Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery.
