David J Schinkai

David James Schinkai, 68, of Port Huron, died Tuesday, November 2, 2021.

He was born October 9, 1953 in Mount Clemens to Rozanne and the late Donald Schinkai.

David was a chiropractor who owned and operated Advanced Back Care locally for many years. He was a longtime member of the Port Huron Yacht Club and an Old Goat of the Port Huron to Mackinac sailboat race. He attended Colonial Woods Missionary Church.

He is survived by four sons, Peter (Adrianne) Schinkai, Andrew (Samantha) Schinkai, Jamie (Michelle) Schinkai, and Kayne Schinkai; three granddaughters; his mother, Rozanne; siblings, Donald Schinkai Jr., Scott (Gretchen) Schinkai and Jeffrey (Theresa) Schinkai; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his son, Aaron.

Memorial services will be announced at a later date.
