Venita “Kathy” Ford, 52, of Ann Arbor, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 2, 2021.
She was born September 26, 1969 in Port Huron, Michigan. She was raised and nurtured in a loving home by her parents Edward and Gracenia Williams.
Kathy graduated from Port Huron High School in 1987. She attended Patricia Stevens School of Fashion and Design in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Kathy loved to travel, fine dining, festive gatherings, and cooking for family and friends. Her favorite past time was watching Young and the Restless and listening to THE GROOVE! She was a woman of strong faith and loved by everyone who knew her.
She loved and cherished her son, Robert A. Ford, and her daughter Kayla R. Ford. She leaves to mourn her parents Edward and Gracenia Williams; aunt Deborah Robinson of California; sister, Deborah Nichols; brother, Edward Williams, Jr..; nephew, Martin Nichols, Jr.; nieces, Jillian Nichols, Alexis Williams and Amaya Williams; special family-friends, Judith Toombs, Garry Collins, Cherise Nichols-Jackson, Bridgette Nichols-Brooks and Athena Edwards-Viola; co-parent, Robert E. Ford; and a host of loving cousins and friends.
A memorial service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 11, 2021 at Kingdom Authority Ministries, 1302 Lapeer Ave, Port Huron MI 48060 with visitation beginning at 12 noon.
