Beverly A DeBusschere

Beverly Agnes DeBusschere, 86, of Kimball Township, formerly of Ocala, Florida, died Sunday, November 7, 2021.

She was born August 17, 1935 in Richmond to the late Henry and Agnes Franz. She married Joseph E. DeBusschere Sr. in 1956 in Anchorville and they were married 50 years until his death in 2006. She married Charles “Buck” Chaillet in 2013. Buck and his wife, Marilyn, had been good friends of Beverly and Joseph, and after the loss of their spouses, Beverly and Buck found happiness together, until Buck’s death in 2016.

Beverly was a self-employed seamstress for many years and especially enjoyed making clothing for her family and friends. She was a talented baker, and enjoyed crafting, crocheting, square dancing, watching T.V. and gardening. Beverly was a wonderful host, and her family fondly remembers magical Christmas Eve parties. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a member of Grandview Church in Dunnellon, Florida.

She is survived by three children, Joe DeBusschere Jr., Beverly “Cookie” Helzer and Cheryl Piceu; seven grandchildren, Jamie, Jennifer, Harold, Joey, Christy, Andrea and Derek; great grandchildren, Maylea, Boston, Greyson, Luke, Justin, Mikeal, Allie, Damion, T.J., Mitch and Maddisyn; and great-great granddaughter, Shylo. She was preceded in death by five brothers.

Private family services have been held and burial will be in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida.
