Christopher B Collick

May 3rd, 1983 to November 15th, 2021
Obituary

Christopher Bruce Collick, 38, of Kenockee Township, left us unexpectedly after a short illness on Monday, November 15, 2021.

He was born May 3, 1983 in Harbor Beach. Chris was a family man with a beautiful wife, Jaime Lynn Collick, and two children, Alexander Bruce and Isabella MaryAnnElise.

Christopher was very active in the Scouting community, serving as a leader, mentor and friend with the Memphis Troop 245. He achieved his Eagle Scout with Port Huron Troop 168 and Wood Badge in his Boy Scout career. He actively participated in running the 3D Archery shoots at both Silver Trails and D Bar A Scout Camps.

He loved hunting, fishing, camping, spending time with his dog, Reeses - anything outdoors, Chris was doing it. He had an epic beard with a perfect curled mustache, and sparkling eyes. Chris was a clown and loved to annoy us and make himself the center of the comedy in any group setting. He never minded what others had to say, He walked the earth to the beat of his own drum.

You were a son, your mother’s first love. You were your father’s first image of himself. You were a brother, your sister’s best friend and annoyance. You were a husband, a lover that was shared with the same last name and your forever love, Jaime. You were a father; you were their protector, teacher and provider. But most of all, you were Chris, Chavez, CMan, Dog face, Tiny boy and so many nicknames, that will forever be carried with all of us. You will forever be in a laugh, a smile, a hug and a tear. The stories of you will forever be shared by a campfire and forever in our hearts.

Chris is survived by his wife, Jaime; children, Alexander and Isabella; his mother, Charlene (Stanley John) Liniarski; his father, Bruce Arthur (Mary) Collick; three sisters, Rebecca (Scott) Feick, Stephanie (Taylor) Symon and Heather Liniarski (Andrew Graham); a brother, Stanley Patrick Liniarski; his grandfather, Garfield Bruce Collick; father-in-law and mother-in-law, John & Gloria Kukuk; brothers-in-law, Justin Kukuk and Kyle Kukuk; and a multitude of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends who were like family.

Visitation will be 1-6 p.m. Saturday, November 20, 2021 in the Marysville Funeral Home followed by a funeral service at 6 p.m. The Reverend Lawrence Chisholm will officiate.
