James H Wilson
James Henry Wilson, 93, of Port Huron, passed away Thursday, November 18, 2021.
He was born February 3, 1928 in Port Huron to the late Harry and Ellen Wilson. He married Doris Hamilton on January 24, 1948 in Port Huron. She passed in 2005.
Mr. Wilson was a lineman with Detroit Edison for 42 years. He served in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, clock making, following Tiger baseball and participating as one of Santa’s helpers during the holidays. He was a member of Marysville Lodge #498 F.&A.M.
Jim is survived by three children, James Wilson Jr., John (Diane) Wilson and Jane (Bob) Howard; seven grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and dear companion, Mary Marsh. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Judy Dickinson; a sister, Clara Morden; and a brother-in-law, Richard Morden.
Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. A Masonic service will be held at 7:00 p.m.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. The Reverend Drew Hart will officiate.
Burial will be in Kinney Cemetery, Clyde Township. Jim’s grandchildren will serve as pallbearers. Military honors will be conducted under the auspices of the U.S. Army and the St. Clair County Allied Veterans Honor Guard.
