Shawn P Smith

Shawn Patrick Smith, 61, of Fort Gratiot, died suddenly on Friday, November 26, 2021.

He was born February 3, 1960 in Port Huron to Gerald and the late Carol Smith. He married Lee Devereaux on November 28, 1981 in Port Huron.

Shawn was a union carpenter. He loved riding his Harley, playing his guitar and harmonica and he was very artistic. He enjoyed spending time with his family and had a great sense of humor.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Lee; daughter, Coastie Smith; son, Keenan Smith (Jennifer Tauscher); father, Gerald Smith; grandchildren, Nyah and Alana; siblings, Ceci (Robert) Gallagher and Stewart “Jim” Smith; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother, Carol Smith; brother, Steve Smith; and sister-in-law, Carmela Smith.

Services will be held at a later date.
