Stanley L Burgett

Stanley Lambert Burgett, 88, of Fort Gratiot, died Tuesday, December 14, 2021.

He was born November 15, 1933 in Port Huron to the late Stanley H. and Nina Burgett. He married Laureen Siple on June 30, 1956 in Port Huron.

Mr. Burgett was employed with the U.S. Postal Service, retiring as a supervisor. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and a member of 4 Square Gun Club. He enjoyed computer games, photography, good food, and traveling with his wife and family.

He is survived by seven children, Russell Burgett (Julie Konrad), Debra Inch, Robert Burgett, Laurie (William) Pincomb, Lynda (Pete) Chelard, Michael (Kristy) Burgett and James Burgett; 11 grandchildren, Kera (Daniel) Quinones, Jason Burgett, Gary Inch, Marie (Matt) Whidden, Michael (Michelle) Ogden, Nicole (Joe) Rock, Jessica (Jeff) Schott, Michael (Melissa) Roesch, Nicholas Roesch, Rachel Burgett and Cierra Burgett; and 27 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Dakota Burgett; a brother, Robert Burgett; and a sister, Maxine Parrish.
