Barbara A Joslin

Barbara Ann Joslin, 84, of Ruby, died Wednesday, December 22, 2021.

She was born April 11, 1937 in Port Huron to the late Henry and Sarah Gamble. She married Kenneth Joslin on March 11, 1961 in Port Huron. He preceded her in death on August 20, 2020 after 59 years of marriage.

Barbara graduated from Marysville High School and attended Owosso Bible college. She was employed as a nurse aide at Goodells Medical Center and Martha T. Berry Nursing Home for many years and was a member of Hillside Wesleyan Church. She played softball and enjoyed camping, including helping at church camp. She was the best at making apple pie and applesauce.

She is survived by two daughters, Kathy (Dan) Wilder and Kristy (Darby) McLaughlin; five grandchildren, Racheal Short (Mike Stilwell), Amanda (Eric) Quiroga, Craig (Kathleen) Wilder, Adam Hillyard (Errol Long) and Robin Hillyard; and 15 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Helen Leslie and Dora Trombley.

Private family services will be held.
