Paul S "PK" Krease

Paul S. Krease, 61, of Marysville, died Monday, December 27, 2021 after a battle with leukemia.

He was born October 15, 1960 in Detroit to Cynthia and the late William Krease. Paul met Cynthia House in the 9th grade and they were married on September 24, 1983 at Ryan Road Baptist Church in Warren.

Paul graduated from Denby High School in 1978. In June of 1982, he began his career with Royal Carpet Distributors in Warren where he remained for over 25 years. On July 27, 2009 Paul was in a catastrophic accident which left him in the hospital for nearly 9 months and forced his early retirement. Despite his health struggles, Paul made the most of his second chance. He loved his vehicles and going for long Sunday drives. He treasured time spent with his family, especially planning family vacations and gathering at the cottage up north near Higgins Lake. Paul was a faithful attender of Griswold Street Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Cynthia; two sons, Zachery and Samuel Krease; his mother, Cynthia Krease; a brother, Edward (Diana) Krease; a brother-in-law, Steve (Sue) House; nieces and nephews, Trevor Monks, Alexa (Michael) Hramiec, Joshua and Madison Krease, and Arthur and Harrison House; and many dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, William; and sister, Patricia Ann Monks.

Visitation will be 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Thursday in Marysville Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 31, 2021 in Griswold Street Baptist Church. Dr. Timothy North and Pastor Joel Mitchell will officiate. Pallbearers will be Rick Dippel, Paul and Steve Dennis, Tim Cruise, Mike Kirk, Mark Hartman, Doug Isham, and Leo Catanzaro.

Inurnment will be in the Riverlawn Cemetery Columbarium, Marysville.
