Timothy A Cole

Timothy Allen Cole, 76, of Kimball Township, died Saturday, January 29, 2022.

He was born May 25, 1945 in Port Huron to the late Andrew and Doris Cole. He married Joanne Korzek on November 29, 1968 in Berkley, Michigan.

Timothy served in the U.S. Army and was awarded a Purple Heart, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal and Vietnam Campaign Medal during his two tours of Vietnam. He was employed with Cargill Salt for over 30 years prior to retirement. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, watching Michigan football and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Joanne; three children, Paula Fuester, Andrew (Tracy) Cole and Amy (Michael) Burnette; grandchildren, T.J. and John Fuester, Chase and Riley Cole, Tiffany, Michael, Alexxandria, Hannah-Mae and Gabriel Burnette; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers, David and Gerald Cole; and sisters, Janice Arnold, Marlene Morris and Kathy Groh.

A memorial gathering with military honors will be held in the spring at the family residence.
