Jeanette J Rodgers Weiss

Jeanette June Rodgers Weiss, 89, of Port Huron Township, died Thursday, February 17, 2022 surrounded by her loving family.

She was born June 19, 1932 in Chesaning, Michigan to the late John and Katherine Litzenburg.

Jeanette worked in the restaurant industry for many years. She loved dancing, gardening, cooking, baking and being with her family. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church for over 60 years.

She is survived by five children, Marc (Diana) Rodgers, Allen (Michele) Rodgers, Gloria Shurkey, Regina (Calvin) Mericle and Walter (Julie) Rodgers; daughter-in-law, Kathy Rodgers; 15 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; one great great-granddaughter; many nieces and nephews; and best friend Emma Sharrow. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Clifford Rodgers Sr. and Dwight Weiss; son, Clifford Rodgers Jr.; son-in-law, Don Shurkey; two brothers, Daniel and John Litzenberg; sisters, Pauline Smith, Elsie Cardella, Katherine Zabor, Margaret Teichmann and Ruby King.

Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. on Monday, February 21, 2022 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 in Trinity Lutheran Church with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Dr. Mark Madson will officiate.

Burial will be in Ruby Cemetery, Clyde Township. Pallbearers will be Ken Gander, Michael Gander, Donald Mericle, Allen Rodgers Jr., Kevin Shurkey, Noah Rodgers, Matthew Rodgers and Marc Rodgers Jr.
