Donald Edward Cleland Jr., 62, of Port Huron Township, died Tuesday, February 15, 2022.
He was born August 21, 1959 in Tawas, Michigan to the late Marjorie and Donald Cleland Sr. He married Josephine Hernandez on June 10, 2005 at their home in Jeddo.
Donald served for 4 years in the U.S. Navy. He was employed at Selfridge Air National Guard base for several years and then with DTE for many years prior to his retirement. He loved camping, boating and joking around and was a very loving and giving man.
He is survived by his wife of 17 years, Josephine; two children, Bobbi (Michael) Willis and Donnie E. (Ashley) Cleland III; step-children, Joe Villarreal (Jody DeLong), Melissa Jordan (Derek), Steven Villarreal, Stephanie Villarreal and Bobby Villarreal; two grandchildren, Ayla and Ruby; many step-grandchildren, including Brian Miller Jr. and Taylor Villarreal, with whom Don had a special bond; one brother, Douglas “Sandy” Cleland; half-sister, Lisa (Ross) Kollenberg; half-brother, Ray (Andrea) LaVigne; several nieces and nephews; and very close best friend, Bob Theibert.
Visitation will be held from 1:00-4:00 p.m. on Friday, February 25, 2022 in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home followed by Military Honors and a time of sharing at 4:00 p.m. Military honors will be conducted under the auspices of the St. Clair County Allied Veterans Honor Guard.
