Maria C Mandia

Maria Carmelia Mandia, 70, of East China, passed away Thursday, March 3, 2022.

She was born November 4, 1951 in Dearborn to the late Alfonse & Angeline Mandia. She married Charles E. Leonard on July 24, 2012 in Sevierville, Tennessee.

Maria enjoyed knitting, dancing, the outdoors and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband, Charles E. Leonard; a daughter, Angela Mandia, two step-children, Lori Dodea and Charles N. (Petra) Leonard; five grandchildren; and one great granddaughter. She was preceded in death by two brothers.

Visitation will be from 2-6 p.m. Friday, March 4, 2022 in the Marysville Funeral Home. A Rosary will be recited at 5:30 p.m.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 5, 2022 in Holy Trinity Parish St. Stephen Catholic Church with visitation beginning at 10:30. The Reverend Bradley Forintos will officiate.

Burial will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Southfield.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
