Margery Josephine Miller, 100, of Port Huron, died Monday, March 7, 2022.
She was born November 6, 1921 in Port Huron to the late Clinton and Lillian Fogal. Her mother went on to live to be 103.
She was the eldest of five children. Her siblings were Madeline Erdman, Beverly Schmidt, Earl Fogal and Richard Fogal.
She married Arthur E. Miller on August 8, 1941, and enjoyed 68 years of marriage before his death on June 22, 2010.
Mrs. Miller was employed for many years at the S.S. Kresge store in downtown Port Huron. She lived on Oak Street and Botsford Street in Port Huron as well as in St. Clair and Smiths Creek. She enjoyed winter and summer sports for many years at their cabin in Atlanta, Michigan. She and Arthur were snowbirds for about 15 years splitting their time in their motor home between Eastpointe Florida and Kissimmee, Florida. She was an avid plastic grid crafter, enjoyed bowling, gardening, playing cards, and visits with her extended family who were all a great source of joy to her.
She is survived by her daughter, Darlene (Rev. Tom) Badley; three grandchildren, Rebecca Badley (Bill Leinenger), Tom (Michelle) Badley II, and Chad (Charlene) Miller; four great grandchildren, Kyle Badley and fiancé, Nicole Nissen, Kyle Klinefelter, Sydney Klinefelter and Morgan Howell; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters, brothers, son and daughter-in-law, Arthur and Linda Miller.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Thursday, March 10, 2022 in Pollock Randall Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. The Reverend Drew Hart of First United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Burtchville Township Cemetery.
